BALM's Underground Church Network (BUCN) will host its Second Annual Advance (otherwise known as a retreat) May 3-5 2024 at Summit Grove Retreat Center in New Freedom, PA—less than an hour away. Our speaker is Damian Gerke, author of In The Way: Church As We Know It Can Be a Discipleship Movement Again. Cost $350 per room; kids are free. This includes lodging and all meals from Friday night dinner through Sunday morning breakfast. Each room in the lodge includes a double bed, a single bed, and twin-sized bunk bed. While we have not planned any childcare/supervision yet, this can be discussed. The venue is very family-friendly and includes disc golf, corn hole, volleyball, tetherball, pickle ball, basketball, horseshoes, and walking trails.
